The Alandi Devachi Temple was built in the 13th century on the banks of the Indrayani River. It is believed that Sant Dnyaneshwar spent some time here and attained Samadhi. The temple is famous for the celebrations of the Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Utsav, which takes place annually in the month of Ashad (June-July). The festival attracts thousands of devotees from all over the state. The Alandi Devachi Temple is known for its peaceful and serene environment. It is a place where people can come and meditate, away from the chaos of the city. The temple also has a holy pond called Siddheshwar Talaav, where people take a dip to purify themselves.
